INTEGRIS Southwest Medical Center
and Southwestern Oklahoma State University College of pharmacy offer a 1-year Pharmacy Residency (PGY-1).
The purpose of the pharmacy residency program is to prepare highly skilled and knowledgeable clinical pharmacy practitioners for patient care positions in a community teaching hospital, adjunct faculty positions, or to pursue PGY2 training in a focused area of practice. The diverse patient population at INTEGRIS Southwest Medical Center provides a unique opportunity to engage the resident in improving his or her skills in patient care, decision-making, practice management, education and leadership. This program is additionally sponsored by Southwestern Oklahoma State University College of Pharmacy. This unique affiliation affords teaching experience to undergraduate pharmacy students and will culminate in a teaching certificate for the resident.
